Aspire, connected directly: read-only jobs every morning and a PM link that asks one question

By Michael Gardner Goodwin · August 27, 2026 · 3 min read

Bottom line: TreasuryFlow now reads your jobs straight from Aspire's API, refreshes them every morning, and sends each project manager one question by link. It never changes anything in Aspire.

Setup

In Aspire, go to Administration, then Application, then API, and create a client. Paste the client ID and secret into TreasuryFlow. Your jobs appear on the first sync.

Read-only by construction

The connector can only sign in and read. There is no code path that writes to Aspire.

Your credentials are encrypted at rest. Access tokens are minted for each sync and never stored.

What it reads

Contract value, earned revenue, actual cost, estimated labor cost, actual labor hours and cost per hour, and job status. That is enough to compute Over/Under, margin, and labor burn for every job.

Every morning, and on demand

Jobs refresh daily, and a re-sync button pulls them now. If a sync fails, the last good snapshot stays in place and the error is shown, so you never see a half-loaded board.

The PM link

Each project manager gets a link that opens on a phone with no login and no app. It asks what it will take to finish, percent done, and an optional note.

Every answer reprices that job's projected cost and margin at completion. A cost-to-finish answer records who gave it and when. PMs never see margin, profit, or cost to date.

A PM's answers survive every Aspire refresh. A sync never overwrites what a person typed.

Aspire stays the system of record

TreasuryFlow reads Aspire. It does not compete with it. Disconnect from the Integrations page whenever you like, and the PM loop falls back to spreadsheet mode.

Update, September 1

When Aspire supplies the hours, there is no spreadsheet for a PM to be late with. The Monday brief now speaks in link mode for Aspire-connected accounts and sheet mode for everyone else.

Our security practices are described on the security page.
